- With its taller and narrower tire profile, the Expedition Classic Scale Truck Tire is a modern offroad tire used in many older off-roaders. It is a realistic RC tire, 1.9 x 3.86 x 1.0 inch (98x26mm) in super-soft Gekko rubber compound with an open-cell foam insert.
A pair of hard compound open-cell single-stage foam inserts are included, engineered explicitly for this narrow tire to withstand heavier vehicle weights.
With a classic tire profile and realistic look, the Expedition Classic is designed for all sorts of scale truck builds, especially classic ones like the Land Rover Defender, Discovery, Series I, II & III, Range Rover, and more.
The tire width of 1.0" (26mm) has many advantages. The smaller footprint means more adjustability with the setup. The tires are less likely to hit the body, shocks, or other chassis components, allowing for a wider steering angle. The narrower track also performs better on loose dirt and sandy surfaces.
Gekko compound is soft and sticky. It is developed specifically for RC crawling & trailing.
