Thorsten Illhardt is a Boom Racing builder with a strong passion for realistic, detail-driven scale RC and a clear preference for Camel Trophy-inspired Land Rovers. He got into the hobby in late 2023, and since then his collection has grown to four scalers, including three BRX02s and a TRX4-based build. What drew him deeper into Boom Racing was the kit quality, the freedom to create his own interpretation, and the way the platform encourages true scale realism. After starting his career as a technician, he moved into a different professional path, and the hobby now gives him a way to keep building practical skills while learning new ones.
